GCSE specialisms

All students will be automatically enrolled in the following core GCSE subjects:

1. English Language

2. English Literature

3. Mathematics

4. Combined Science

5. Religious Studies

Students will additionally participate in the greater curriculum of Physical Education and Leadership Development Time, to provide a complete education. There will be two pathways available to students:

Pathway A: In addition to these core subjects, students in Pathway A will also study, Geography or History and MFL. Students opting for this pathway will then select one subject from the optional list to study in addition to the core subjects.

Pathway B: In addition to these core subjects, students who opt for pathway B, will study GCSE citizenship. This will be examined at the end of Year 10. Students will receive additional curriculum time in English, Mathematics and Science in year 11. They will also choose one specialism from the below:
