Sixth Form Admissions

The HSAEL sixth form is deliberately small, with just 50 places available each year. Joining a small sixth form that is part of a large network of successful Academies gives you the benefit of small class sizes and specialist support.

Sep-24

Applications open for 2025 entry.

Please fill in the online form to be considered for entry (internal and external candidates).
14-Nov-24 HSAEL Sixth Form Open Evening – find out about the ethos of the sixth form and meet subject staff and sixth form students.
Jan-25 Early offers made.
Mar-25 Offer holders network event – meet current sixth form students, Harris alumni and key staff.
Apr-25 Final offers made.
Jun-25 Sixth Form Induction Day – experience HSAEL lessons and get a taste of life as  HSAEL sixth form student.
21-Aug-25 Enrolment Day

Entry Requirements

General Admissions

Grade 5 English (Language or Literature) and Maths.

A-levels taken at GCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, History, English Literature, French, Computer Science.

Grade 6 in chosen subject.

A-levels not taken at GCSE: Economics, Computer Science, Psychology, Philosophy

Grade 6 in Maths: Economics, Computer Science, Psychology

Grade 6 in English/RS: Philosophy 

Grade 6 in either history/ geography/ RS: Psychology

Please note, we do not make offers to students who want to resit A-levels.
