Tom Christopher

Senior Assistant Principal

Mr Christopher is from South London and was educated at a local comprehensive school. He graduated from The University of Bath, with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. He wanted to share his passion for sport with others, so decided to embark on a career in PE teaching. [D(1] 

Mr Christopher started his teaching career at Harris Academy Beckenham where he remained for 9 years. He joined the senior leadership team in 2019 helping to secure some of the best results in the borough. He was the Assistant Principal leading on behaviour and attitudes, implementing many of the systems which helped the academy secure its second outstanding Ofsted, in May 2023.

Mr Christoper feels privileged to work at HSAEL and be part of an experienced team ensuring students not only leave with the best possible outcomes but have the character to change the world!
