Kirsten Boyle
Vice Principal
Born and educated in Canada, Ms Boyle earned her degree in Psychology and History from Queen’s University and then graduated with her Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. From a young age, she aspired to be a teacher and moved to the U.K. in 2013 to fulfil this ambition.
Ms Boyle began her teaching career at Harris Upper Norwood in 2013. This school, which had been placed into special measures in 2013, was graded outstanding just two years later. She then transitioned to Harris South Norwood, in charge of student leadership and student voice. Ms Boyle later became Head of English at Harris Invictus Academy Croydon, where she led a department who achieved some of the highest English results in the Federation. Invictus was graded outstanding in 2024, and she is excited to see the same happen at HSAEL!
HSAEL Mission: To ensure every child secures the outcomes to become a leader in their chosen field.
